[sticky post] Introduction and Table of Contents  
Hello, and thank you for looking in. This is where I post my fantasy stories in their uncensored, unabridged editions.

Most stories will feature homosexual relationships. Those with explicit adult material are marked with an asterisk. (*)

Tales of the Tempest series (Ongoing heroic fantasy) -- As an ancient, dying empire slowly collapses, it leaves political chaos in its wake even as old powers long suppressed rise up again.  Amid all this, a young martial artist wanders the land in search of his own purpose, accompanied by his partner and lover, a warrior with a special gift.

The Rising Storm (Novella, 35,700 words.) -- The only one in the royal citadel of Lipak who has any secrets to keep is the kings youngest son, Kitaro. Or so it seems, until he realizes there is at least one secret being kept from him.

Along the Forest Road (Novella, 33,500 words..) -- Tamarick of the Tripolis has never run into anyone he can't handle, until a certain martial artist happens by. But why is Tamarick living off by himself?

The Shadow Duke (Short story, 10,700 words..) -- Nothing about the great fortress makes any sense, from the ruffians inhabiting it to its lord's odd behavior. Can anyone pass the night under his roof in safety?

Barbaric Treatment (Short story, 1,450 words..) -- Hrothgar the Barbarian has dreams which Kitaro and Tamarick do not share. Not to mention horrendous grammar.

The Secret Oasis (Short story, 9,770 words.) -- This has not been the best time of Kitaro's life, but when an attack along the Spice Road leaves the caravan in a precarious position he and Tamarick must take action.

Colder than Ice, Hotter than Flame (Short story, 11,700 words.) -- Kitaro and Tamarick are now well-known mercenary agents. When a commission takes them back into Lipak for the first time since Kitaro left home, can he hold to an old resolve? Or will he be destroyed by his own rage?

To the Summer Sweet* (Short story, 3,400 words.)  -- Ian is boy on the cusp of discovery at the end of a strangely restless summer.

The Ceilidh (Short story, 3,100 words) -- Ian's great-grandmother deals with the consequences of his decision.
Stand-alone stories

That Which He Needs* (Short story, 2,600 words.) -- Science fiction steampunk with[info]engine_red 's characters and setting. David is stressed out as usual, and Kuro knows exactly what he needs.

I apologize for spamming your friends list with this. Setting the "out of order" flag was supposed to keep that from happening.

Every so often I see a post on one of the communities I watch about some online market where it might be a good fit, but that invariably happens when I'm slacking at work and the sites themselves are presumably NSFW. Then I forget to follow up once I get home. So maybe. I doubt any of it is suitable for a print market outside a fairly narrow niche. That's awful nice for you to say though. Thank you.

I do wish I wasn't having such trouble coming up with stories. I have lots of situations in mind, but I'm having trouble developing plots from them. Despite your compliment, this isn't really all that much. If I get really desperate I have another older story I can clean up and post. The first one of the series that I actually wrote, as it happens, but it drags Kitaro back to Lipak and I'd wanted to stay away from there for awhile.

THANK YOU!!! Thank you for first writing and then sharing such well written stories, full of great grammar, and excellent characters. I love all of them and now that I have found them I hope you do continue to post. I want to read their further adventures. Thanks again!

Thank you very much, O anonymous person. I do plan to continue, but my personal life has been a bit too "interesting" lately and I'm not making any progress on the several stories I have in draft.

I suppose it's a sad commentary on the state of online fiction that "great grammar" is a valid compliment these days!

I wanted you to know that I really love your prose and it has been a great source of inspiration for me to write and publish my own stories online. I can't claim to have been all that inspiring lately. I've finished very little over the past couple of years. Thanks for being so nice about it anyway.

I hope they get y!G up again soon. I'm going into yaoi withdrawal.

I'll look into your blog, but I can't promise much. I often post on DA's literature forum, but I find I've become rather terse and surly lately. I wouldn't want to do that to you!
